Miriam Hiestand Roush, 88, died Friday, May 13, 2005. Born December 21, 1916 in Hillsboro, she was the daughter of Chauncey and Anna Parker Gross.
She is survived by her children, John Hiestand, Nancy White, Richard Hiestand, five grandsons and five great grandsons. Also surviving is her sister, Clara Wait.
She was preceded in death by husbands: Paul B. Hiestand and Sigel Roush, her sister Sarah Roush.
She taught in the Hillsboro City School system for many years.
There will be no visitation nor services.
Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro is in charge of arrangements.
