Monty Black, age 54 of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at UC Hospital.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 15, 1960 the son of the late Cleo and Shirley Marlene (Shipley) Black.
He is survived by his wife Tonia (Carroll) Black of Winchester; one daughter, Jesseka and Mark Willett of West Union; two step daughters, Hannah and Tony Sparks of Seaman and Esther and Eric Riddell of West Union, four brothers, Rick and Cheryl Black of Winchester, Scott Black and Sue Richards of Lynx, Craig and Jennifer Black of Winchester, and Tony Black of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; one sister, Ketta and Shawn Burns of Seaman; one granddaughter, Brynlee, and six step grandchildren, Preston, Sam, Ezra, Katy Jo, Soloman, and Sara.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Rev. Marilyn Rhoades officiating. Burial will follow in Winchester Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 4:00 till 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
