Myrtle Mae Helterbrand

October 4, 1919 — June 4, 2001

Myrtle Mae Helterbrand, 81 years of Hillsboro, died Monday, June 4, 2001 at the Adena Regional Medical Center in Chillicothe.

She was born in Highland County, OH on October 4, 1919 the daughter of the late Leroy D and Bessie J. Turner Reno.

She was a member of the Rainsboro Church of Christ in Christian Union .

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one Great Grandson Theron Keith Bourne, three brothers, Ovie, Carrie and Kenneth Reno, two sisters, Velma Day and Helen Griffith.

She is survived by her husband of sixty three years, Donald Helterbrand of Hillsboro, one son and daughter-in-law, Philip and Judy Helterbrand of Fostoria, OH, five daughters and three sons-in-law, Velma Helterbrand of Hillsboro, OH, Ruby and Bradley Bourne of Greenfield, OH, Sharon and Larry Bobb of Winchester, OH, Patty and Robert Sheppard of Sinking Spring, OH, Betty Lou Robinson of Hillsboro, OH, one sister, Ethel Sheppard of Waynesville, OH, one sister-in-law Faye Reno of Germantown, OH, seventeen Grandchildren, thirty four Great Grandchildren, two Great Great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.



Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 7, 2001 at 1:00 P.M. at the Elmville Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Don Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.

Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 till 9:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Memorials may be made to the Rainsboro Church of Christ in Christian Union Church in care of Mona Parker, 7489 Keplinger Road, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133.
