Myrtle Lee Mcmanama

March 18, 1916 — February 20, 2006

Myrtle Lee McManama, 89 years of West Union, died Monday, February 20, 2006 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.

She was born in Fallsburg, Kentucky on March 18, 1916 the daughter of the late Freelin and Dixie York Moore.

She was a teacher in the Adams County Ohio Valley Schools. She was a member of the Nathaniel Massie Chapter of the Eastern Star #548, White Shrine, State Teacher Retirement System, and the Ohio Education Association.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one sister, Marie M. Taylor, and one brother, Deward B. Moore.

She is survived by her son, Don Thompson of West Union, two sisters, Betty Satterfield of Seaman, Hazel Presley of Ashley, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 23, 2006 immediately following the Eastern Star services at 1:30 P.M. at the Wheat Ridge Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Allen Hammon officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Leigh Cemetery.

Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 1:30 P.M. at the Wheat Ridge Presbyterian Church.

Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman is in charge of arrangements.
