Nadine Lewis, 70 years of Peebles, died Thursday, April 18, 2002 at her residence.
She was born in Otway, Ohio on April 24, 1931 the daughter of the late Herbert and Demia Pridemore Penn.
She was a member of the Hills Chapel Christian Union Church, the Peebles Lioness Club, the Peebles Garden Club, and the Peebles Magazine Club. She was a flight inspector with the Federal Aviation Administration.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Bill Penn, and one sister, Amelia.
She is survived by her husband, Warren Lewis of Peebles, who she married on March 18, 1950, sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Dawn Lewis of Otway, Roger Lewis of Peebles, Todd and Andrea Lewis of Mason, daughter and son-in-law, Kathi and Jim Houpe of Mason, brothers, Jack Penn of Florida, Herbert Penn of West Union, David Penn of Kentucky, sisters, Dorothy Dietz of Cleveland, Mary Smith of Portsmouth, Timmie Gill of Columbus, fourteen grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, April 21, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Moore Chapel Church in Bluecreek with Dennis Grooms officiating. Burial will follow in the Moore?s Chapel Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Lioness service at 7:30 P.M.
