Nadine Sowards, 56 years of Peebles, passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at her residence.
She was born in West Union, Ohio on April 9, 1955 the daughter of the late Russell and Loretta Pugh Myers.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers.
Nadine was a member of the Peeble's Lady's Auxiliary and Peebles American Legion.
She is survived by her husband Terry Sowards of Peebles, whom she married on May 9, 1976 son, Philip Myers of Peebles, son and daughter-in-law, Jeremiah and Alicia Sowards of West Union, two brothers, Donald Preston and Noble Myers both of Peebles, and two sisters, Marlene Newman of Peebles and Mary West of Wilmington.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Peebles Church of Christ in Christian Union with Phil Fulton and Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
