Naomi Murphy Pitzer, 81 years of Seaman, passed away Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at Christ Hospital.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 15, 1929 the daughter of the late C.E. and Faun E. Strickler Murphy.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Pitzer, who passed away on September 4, 2000, one sister; Ruth Holbert, and two daughter-in-laws; Mary Elizabeth Pitzer and Brenda Day Pitzer.
Naomi attended the Agape Worship Center.
She is survived by one son; David Pitzer of Seaman, two granddaughters; Amy and Shawn Harmon and Bridgett Bowman, six great grandchildren, two step grandsons; John and Ed Day, and three step great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman with Pastor Rick Gerlock officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Leigh Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Lewis-Sullivan Chapel in Seaman.
Memorials may be made to Agape Worship Center.
