Naomi Ruth Sheffield

Naomi Ruth Sheffield, 77 years of Sardinia, formerly of Winchester, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at her residence.
She was born in Tollesboro, Kentucky on June 14, 1929 the daughter of the late Ardith and Hattie D. Reeder Hord.
She was a member of the Gallilee Church of Christ in Epworth, Kentucky, where she was baptized when she was a teenager.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Sheffield, who passed away in 1962, two infant daughters, Patricia and Shirley, one brother, Vernon Elmo Hord, and one son-in-law, Bobby Gaffin.
She is survived by her son, Timothy Sheffield of Winchester, two daughters and one son-in-law, Sharon Gaffin and fiancé, Steve Foster of Winchester, Connie and Robert Davis of Sardinia, brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Sue Hord of Seaman, two sisters, Vera Faye Colliver of Winchester, Wanda Swearingen of Winchester, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and host of friends.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 31, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home in Winchester with Kevin Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan Funeral Home.
