Nellie E. Hoop, 82 years of Seaman, died Friday, February 8, 2002 at the Eagle Creek Nursing Center in West Union.
She was born at Adams County, Ohio on September 28, 1919 the daughter of the late Cyrus and Flossie Mae Winkle Tolle.
She was a member of the Wheat Ridge Presbyterian Church.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Lawrence Tolle, two sisters, Leone Foster, Letha Goodwin, one grandson, and one great grandson.
She is survived by her husband of over 59 years, Sherwood Hoop of Seaman, sons and daughters-in-law, Ray and Linda Hoop of Columbus, Eddie and Valerie Hoop of Seaman, daughters and sons-in-law, Ruth and Richard Young of Seaman, Mary and Norman Woods of Cincinnati, brother, Jim Tolle of Seaman, sisters, Lou Belle Harmon of Winchester, Janie Grooms of Dayton, Pearle Grooms of West Union, Virginia Brewer of West Union, eleven grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren, two step great grandchildren, nine step great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2002 at 2:30 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Rev. Ken Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
