Nellie I. Potts

Nellie I. Potts, 84 years of Sardinia, passed away Wednesday, August 31, 2022.

Nellie was born January 9, 1938 at May Hill, Adams County, OH., the daughter of the late Walter H. and Lucille L. (Chenoweth) Williamson. Beside her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. Potts; son, Joseph Potts; daughter, Christina Reed; three brothers, Lowell, Billie and Chuck Williamson; sister, Gladys Burns.

Nellie was a member of the Apostolic Deliverance Tabernacle in Peebles.

Nellie is survived by her daughter, Joyce Witt od Sardinia, OH.; daughter-in-law, Cynthia Potts of Peebles, OH.; son-in-law, William Reed of Peebles, OH.; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren; 4 brothers, Jessie Williamson of Seaman, OH., Bert Williamson of Newark, OH., Danny Williamson of Peebles, OH., Paul Williamson of Hillsboro, OH.; two sisters, Esther Long of Newark, OH. and Dessie McCann of Peebles, OH.; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M., Saturday, September 3, 2022 at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring, OH.

Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Saturday from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
