Nellie J. Ratliff

Nellie J. Ratliff, 72 years of Peebles, died Sunday, July 28, 2002 at her residence.
She was born in Portsmouth, Ohio on July 23, 1930 the daughter of the late Simon and Norma Bayes Hammond.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Richard and Terry Ratliff.
She is survived by her husband, Wilson Ratliff of Peebles, who she married on March 20, 1948, one son, Micheal Osborne of Rarden, two daughters and son-in-law, Regina Foster of Otway, Helena and Earl Maddy of Otway, sister, Marie Hopkins of Dayton, seven grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, one great great grandson, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Carl Sheets officiating. Burial will follow in the Conley Cemetery.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
