Nelson L. Hamilton

Nelson L. Hamilton, 83 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Friday October 3, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Highland County, on July 13, 1931, the son of the late Monroe and Della
Swayne Hamilton. Besides his parents he was also preceded by eleven brothers and sisters.
Nelson was a member and a Deacon of the Marshall Church of Christ and retired from O.D.O.T. after thirty years.
He is survived by his wife Molly Pendleton Hamilton, whom he married on July 19, 1950, two sons David L. Judy Hamilton of Pricetown and James L. Jackie Hamilton of Hillsboro, two daughters, Connie L. Hamilton-Burden of Wilmington and Diana L. Hamilton-Kelch of Hillsboro, two sisters Dorothy Dan Hiestand of Hillsboro and Ruby Wallingford of Lynchburg, fourteen grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Wednesday October 8, 2014 at the Marshall Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery.
Friends may call at 11:00 A.M. until time of service on Wednesday October 8, 2014 at the church.
