Nelson Glenn McClure, Jr. 77 years of Hillsboro, died Saturday October 20, 2012 at the Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton.
He was born in Highland County on June 19, 1935 the son of the late Nelson Glenn and Ruth Forsythe McClure, Sr. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Wilma McClure.
He had retired from Candle Lite after 33 years.
He is survived by his wife Edith I. Arledge McClure whom he married on September 13, 1968, one son Tracy Glenn McClure of Hillsboro; one daughter and son -in-law Teresa and Jamie Parrish of Bainbridge; three brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Larry and Deloris Arledge of Hillsboro, Wayne and Pauline Arledge of Hillsboro, Kevin and Clara Arledge of Hillsboro; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Alonzo Truman of Hillsboro, Jean and Paul Truman of Hillsboro; one granddaughter Lisa Parrish; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 25, 2012 at the Thompson Funeral Home with Rev. Greg Roberts officiating. Burial will follow in the Hamer Township Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home..
