Nettie McIntosh, 84 years of Winchester, passed away Thursday, May 15, 2008 at Arbors of Marietta in Marietta, Ohio.
She was born in Breathitt County, Kentucky on February 9, 1924 the daughter of the late Robert and Isabella Burton Turner.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Hubert McIntosh, who passed away on December 8, 2000, sons John and James McIntosh, son-in-law Gary Bennington, daughter-in-law Shirley McIntosh, brothers Willye and Wilburn Turner, and sisters Hattie Brown, Dora Amis, Elsie Reeves, Helen Turner, Minnie Mae Deaton, and Faye Moore.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law Lillie and Kenneth Ritchie of Sardinia, Ohio, Wilma and Charles DePriest of Peebles, and Isabella Bennington of Peebles, sisters Edna Begley of Booneville, Kentucky and Lucy Mayse of Newport, Kentucky, ten grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester with Dan Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Ash Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester.
Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
