Nicholas "Nick" A, Oglesby

Nicholas A. "Nick" Oglesby, 62 years of Hillsboro, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024. He was born March 22, 1962 in Hamilton, OH., the son of the late Harold and Helen (Cox) Oglesby. On January 31, 1998, Nick was united in marriage to Rebecca "Becki" (Walker) Oglesby. They were blessed with three devoted and loving daughters, Miranda (Garth) Watson, Morgan Oglesby and Mackenzie Oglesby; two grandchildren; brothers and sister-in-law, Mike Oglesby, Tom and Lisa Oglesby; mother-in-law, Sue Walker; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Chris and Nanette Walker, Bill and Lori Magulac; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. Throughout his life, Nick dedicated his days to working the land as a farmer and livestock hauler, finding solace and purpose in the rhythm of farm life. His commitment to his work was unparalleled, having been honored as an honorary member of the Hillsboro FFA in 2009 and having spent years at the Union Stockyards alongside Dr. Mike Sims.
