Nina V. Jones, 92 years of Hillsboro, passed away on Wednesday April 9, 2014 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
She was born in Highland County on August 1, 1921, the daughter of the late Fred and Faye Kelley Hill. Besides her parents she was also preceded by her husband Ralph N. Jones on June 12, 2003; two sisters Margene Hoop and Lucille VanPelt.
Nina was a member of the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church and of the Mothers Club.
She is survived by her son Michael Jones of Huber Heights, daughter and son-in-law Susan and Dr. David Shie of Dayton, four grandchildren Casey Scott Miller, Scott Abby Shie, Matthew Julie Shie and Douglas Shie and seven great grandchildren Molly, Grant, Nolan, Andrew, Madison, Charlie and Luke.
Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday April 14, 2014 at the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church with Dr. Derek Russell and Chris Gobin officiating. Burial will follow at Marshall Cemetery.
Friends may call at 2:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. on Sunday April 13, 2014 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
