Noel D. Barney, 77 years of Williamsburg, died Friday, November 4, 2011 at the Sunrise Manor in Amelia.
He was born in Highland County on March 4, 1934 the son of the late Moses Steward and Lillie Byrd Storer Barney. Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Warren Barney; four sisters, Frances O'Bryan, Daisy Wilson, Carolyn Chenoweth and Rosa Lee Wardlow.
He had work for Asplundh Tree Service for 40 years.
He is survived by two sons and daughter in law; Timothy Barney of Williamsburg, Bill and Amy J. Barney of Sardinia.
Due to Noel's request there will be no Services or Visitation.
