Nona E. Harrison

Nona Harrison, 78 years of Loxahatchee, FL. formerly of Hillsboro, passed away on Monday, August 2, 2021.

Nona was born in Xenia, OH on June 3, 1943, to E. L. "Lee" and Lucy (Turvey) Hodson.

Nona was preceded in death by her parents E.L. on July 12, 1980 and Lucy on July 19, 2002, husband, Robert "Bob" Harrison on November 12, 1997, two nephews, Daryl Hodson on May 1964 and Richard West on January 12, 1990 and one step son Robert Harrison Jr. on April 17, 2020.

Nona is survived by one brother and sister-in-law, David and Verla Hodson of Greenfield, one sister and brother-in-law, Deanna and Sam West of Hillsboro, one step daughter, Rita Harrison of Naples, FL., one step son, Rob Harrison of Dayton, OH., one step daughter-in-law, Jean Harrison of Lakeview, OH., one nephew and his wife, Paul and Missy West of Hillsboro, three nieces, Colarina and husband Scott Amos of Hillsboro, Monica Pumpelly, Kela Hodson and two great nieces Alexis and Hanna West.

Nona had an avid love for horses and cats.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Glen Haven Memorial Gardens in New Carlisle, OH.

Friends may call from 10:00 A.M. until time of services on Wednesday at the Thompson Funeral Home.
