Nora M. Gordley

Nora M. Gordley, 63 years of Peebles, died Saturday, April 5, 2003 at her residence. She was born at Peebles, Ohio on August 3, 1939 the daughter of William and Mildred Abbott Shiveley. She was a member of the Peebles Church of Christ. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one son Darrin Stone in 1995 and one brother, Joe Shiveley. She is survived by her husband Butch Gordley whom she married on August 18, 1978, of Peebles, three sons and daughter-in-law, Mike and Shilla Stone of Peebes, Tim and Sheryl Stone of Peebles, Shane Stone of Peebles, two brothers, Russell Shiveley of West Union, Charles Shiveley of Peebles, three sisters, Irene Cook of Oberlin, OH, Birdie Bean of Peebles, Linda Ritchie of Batesville, IN, five grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 8, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Bill Christman and Jim Chandler officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M.at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
