Obie Jones, 65 years of Peebles, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2010 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Hazard, Kentucky on October 29, 1945 the son of the late Lonnie Jones.
He is survived by his mother Ethel Combs Jones of Hazard, Kentucky, two sons and daughters-in-law; Obie and Tracey Jones, Jr. of Independence, Kentucky and Nate and Danielle Jones of Cynthiana, Kentucky, one brother; Tom Jones of Hazard, Kentucky, six sisters; Martha Miller, Cinda Miller, Alice Combs, Janice Combs all of Hazard, Kentucky, Rachel Hall of Fairfield, and Gladys Terry of Cincinnati, and six grandchildren.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, December 31, 2010 from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Peebles Life Squad building.
The Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
