Odessa Lee, 87 years of Winchester, passed away Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at Villa Georgetown Nursing Home.
She was born in Brown County, Ohio on October 18, 1923 the daughter of the late Ora and Bertie Lowe Piper.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John, who passed away on August 12, 1998, one brother; Ora Piper, Jr., and two sisters; Evelyn Kimball and Mercedese Barr.
Odessa attended Brookville Nazarene Church.
She is survived by three sisters; Marjorie Bridges of Maysville, Kentucky, Delores Dale of Crawfordsville, Indiana, and Marlene Thompson of Winchester, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home, Bradford-Sullivan Chapel in Winchester is in charge of the arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Winchester Methodist Church.
