Ollie James Creech, 83 years of Peebles, died Monday, November 20, 2006 at the Drake Center in Cincinnati.
He was born in Stanton, Kentucky on July 18, 1923 the son of the late Bishop and Martha Fulke Creech.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Louden Community Church.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Ann Barker Creech, who passed away on August 25, 2005, daughter, Cecilia Creech, and four brothers.
He is survived by his brother, Jean Creech of Stanton, Kentucky, sister, Ruby Nolan of Stanton, Kentucky, granddaughter, Jackie Curby, two great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at 5:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Wayne Adams officiating. Graveside service and burial will be held on Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at the Woodside Cemetery in Middletown with Wayne Adams officiating.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3:00 till 5:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
