Omar Glaze Humphreys

Omar Glaze Humphreys, age 65 of Hillsboro, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at the Laurels of Hillsboro.
He was born on December 3, 1945 in Sinking Spring, OH., to Forest Omar Humphreys and Pauline Glaze Humphreys. He is preceded in death by his father, Forest.
Omar attended Sinking Spring School and graduated from Charlotte High School in Punta Gorda, FL. Omar retired from General Motors, owned and operated a mowing business.
He is survived by his mother, Pauline Humphreys Williams of Hillsboro, two sisters, Shirley Ann Ron Shelton of Beaver Creek, OH., and Jane Jack Stowers of Hillsboro, two nieces, Sonya Brown of Beaver Creek, OH. and Glenda David Puckett of Hillsboro, one nephew, Timothy Sherri Helterbrand of Hillsboro, several great nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Graveside service will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Sinking Spring, OH..
John Porter will officiate services.
No visitation will be held.
Thompson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
