Opal I. Baker Vance, 71 years of Winchester, died Tuesday, February 5, 2002 at her

Residence.

She was born at Cranberry, W. VA on February 25, 1930 the daughter of James and Annie Wood Evans.

She was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union and a self

Employed Hairdresser.

Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her 1st husband Herman Baker of thirty

five years, two brothers, Alvey Evans, Leroy Evans and one sister, Ethlyn Chrisp.

She is survived by her 2nd husband, Elbert ?Moose? Vance of Winchester,

three daughters and sons-in-law, Roseanna and Larry Goebel of Mt. Vernon, IN, Linda and John Boring of Akron, OH, Rebecca and Larry Ballard of Thurman, NC, one step daughter, Patty McCaffay of Springboro, OH, one step son, Keith Moore of Texas, four sisters and brothers-in-law, Stella and Gene Lively of Prosperity, W.VA, Virginia Morris of Prosperity, W. Va., Sadie and Ray Watson of Mogadore, OH, Hazel and Paul Bossert, Barberton, OH, eight grandsons, five granddaughters and seventeen great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. at the Winchester Church of Christ in Christian Union with Rev. Dan Harrison officiating.

Friends may call on Friday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Bradford-Sullivan

Funeral Home in Winchester.
