Orpha Chain, 90 years of Wheelersburg, Ohio died Monday, June 12, 2006 at the Greenbriar Healthcare Center in Wheelersburg.
She was born in Scioto County, Ohio on June 15, 1915 the daughter of the late Vincent and Verdie Stewart Robertson.
She was a member of the Lawshe Church of Christ. She was a cook at the Hillcrest Nursing Center.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Chain, who passed away on July 31, 1991, one brother, Milton Robertson, and three sisters, Rose Marsack, Mary Gordley, and Freda Edwards.
She is survived by her nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2006 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
