Orville Wright, 79 of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, November 8, 2005 at the Heartland of Hillsboro.
He was born at West Portsmouth, Scioto County, November 30, 1925 the son of the late Roy and Flora Lou Purcell Wright.
He was a member of the Waverly United Baptist Church, US Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife of fifty eight years Rosemary Crum Wright, one son and daughter-in-law, Kenneth and Dee Wright of Winchester, two daughters and sons-in-law, Susan and Joe McCoppin of Hillsboro, Jane and James Chain of Hillsboro, six brothers and sisters-in-law, Leonard and Betty Sue Wright of Hilliard, Lawrence and Mary Lou Wright of Hilliard, Frank and Velma Wright of Hillsboro, Marvin and Hazel Wright of Hilliard, Denver and Nancy Wright of Hillsboro, Dwayne and Penny Wright of Grove City, one sister and brother-in-law, Hazel and Ernest Erwin of Plain City, nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 11, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church with Dr. Dan Lamb officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Thursday evening from 4:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.
Memorials may be made to the donors Choice or the Hillsboro Bible Baptist Church building fund, 8080 St. Rt. 124, Hillsboro, Ohio 45133
