Otto Hilderbran, age 95 of Peebles, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at his residence.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on February 24, 1918 the son of the late Joseph and Effie Shanks Hilderbran.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son, Bobby Hilderbran.
Otto attended Union Hill Church.
He is survived by his wife, Flora Lansing Hilderbran of Peebles whom he married on August 23, 1945; two sons, Joe Hilderbran and Larry Hilderbran both of Peebles; four daughters and sons-in-law, Pauline and Bob Harrison of Leesburg, Goldie Hilderbran of Peebles, Judy Williams of Waverly and Sharon and Alan Lansing of Springfield, Ohio; one sister, Evalena Mustard of Hillsboro; 6 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. Union Hill Church with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
