Otto J. Newman, 82 years of Peebles, Rarden Community, Dunlap Road, died Saturday, January 5, 2002 at his residence.
He was born in Scioto County on October 11, 1919 the son Charley and Cora Ward Newman.
He was a US Army Veteran serving in World War II and had worked as a labor on the N&W Railroad.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one son Randy Newman.
He is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Sue Newman of Peebles, three
Daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda Wilson of Greenfield, Joyce and Robert Moore of Portsmouth, Connie and Kenneth McCollister of Frandfort, one daughter-in-law, Bobbie Newman of Rarden, twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 8, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles. Burial will follow in the Newman Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday evening from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
