Patricia Mae Holmes

Patricia M. "Pat" Holmes, 74 years of New Vienna, OH., passed away Friday August 12,2016 at the Masonic Homes of Kentucky in Shelbyville, KY.
Pat was born August 6, 1942 in Dayton, KY., the daughter of the late Rev. Virgil and Bertha (Thomas) Steely. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister Carma Pack.
Pat was a graduate of Stebbens High School in Dayton, OH. And attended Tri-County Academic Center. Pat retired from Johnson Controls in Greenfield after 29 years of service.
On November 4, 1961 she was united in marriage to John Holmes who survives. Beside her husband she is survived by one daughter and son-n-law, Melissa "Missy" and Dr. Jim Davis of Cincinnati; two sons and daughters-in-law Mark and Leslie Holmes of New Vienna, OH., Mike and Meshell Holmes of Kansas City, MO.; 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; two brothers David Steely of Alabama and Mike Steely of Chicago, IL.; several nieces, nephews, special niece Wendy (Barry) Bernard of Hillsboro; great nieces and great nephews.
Memorial service for family and friends will be held 7:00 P.M. Monday August 15, 2016 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro. Visitation for family and friends will be from 5:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Monday at Thompson Funeral Home
