Patsy A. Unger, 66 years of Seaman, died Monday, February 27, 2006 at her residence.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on December 25, 1939 the daughter of the late James and Isabelle Brooks Purtee.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Noah Purtee, William Purtee, and James Purtee, Jr., and four sisters, Dana Caton, Jane Abbott, Elizabeth Storer, and Betty Swartz.
She is survived by her husband, James K. Unger of Seaman, step son, Larry J. Millie Unger of New Market, brothers and sisters-in-law, Amon and Linda Purtee of Frazeysburg, Ohio, Carl Lee and Carol Purtee of Milford, sisters and brother-in-law, Helen and Harley Wamsley of South Shore, Kentucky, Kathleen Wade of Springfield, Ohio, Janet Brown of Gahanna, special niece, Jean Wade of Springfield, and several other nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 2, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Home Holsted officiating. Burial will follow in the Tranquility Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to American Legion #755, Sardinia, Ohio.
