Patti Tharp, 61 years of Hillsboro, died Thursday, January 8, 2004 at her residence.
She was born in Dayton, Ohio on November 4, 1942 the daughter of the late Charles and Alberta Barnes Allen, Sr.
Beside her parents she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tiffany.
She is survived by her husband, William Bill Tharp, who she married on July 6, 1962, son and daughter-in-law, Rodney and Jenny Tharp of Lynchburg, daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and Dave Williams of Leesburg, mother-in-law, Louise Tharp of Hillsboro, brother, Charles Allen, Jr. of Vandalia, Ohio, and five grandchildren, Angel Tharp, Billie Jane Williams, Cody and Tyler Williams, and Dylan Tharp.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 10, 2004 at 3:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Melvin Rhoads officiating. Burial will follow in the Hillsboro Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 till 3:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to Highland District Hospital, 1275 N. High Street, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
