Paul W. Chambers

Paul W. Chambers, 84 years of Mason, passed away on Tuesday September 24, 2013 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash.
He was born in Adams County on December 26, 1928, the son of the late Fred and Ethel Grace Hill Chambers. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers Dale, Roger, Denny and James "Jim" Chambers.
Paul was a graduate of Belfast High School, retired in 1989 from Hills & Dales Training Center, worked for General Electric for 16 years, a member of the Faith Community United Methodist Church in West Chester, a former member of the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church, Sharonville Lodge # 204 F. & A.M., a Paul Harris recipient, former member of the Hillsboro Rotary, President of the Hillsboro Merchants and served during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Army.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married on January 1, 1961, Marilyn Patton Chambers of Mason, two daughters, Paula Lynn David Hensgen of Springdale and Jennifer Lee Dexter of Mason, sister-in-law Ethel Chambers of Seaman, grandson Garrett Dexter and several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. on Saturday September 28, 2013 at the Hillsboro 1st United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery with Military Graveside Rites by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call from 5:00-8:00 P.M. on Friday September 27, 2013 at the Thompson Funeral Home.
