Paul D. Compton 64 years of Peebles, died Sunday August 13, 2006 at his residence.
He was born in Adams County, OH on April 13, 1942 the son of the late Clarus and Flora Van Dyke Compton.
He worked as a Machinist for Copeland & Hobart.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Nellie Gaffin.
He was united in marriage on June 3, 1972 to Sandra Miller Compton, who survives. He is also survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Cathy Compton of Blanchester, Eric and Jamie Compton of Greenfield, Aaren Compton of Highland, one daughter and son-in-law, Paula and Reese Homes of Columbus, Indiana, one brother Elmer Compton of Blue Creek and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 16, 2006 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home with Phil Fulton officiating. Burial will follow in the Dunkard Ridge Cemetery.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 11:00 A.M. till service time at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
