Paul Houchen, age 87 of Peebles, passed away Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Hillside Nursing Home.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on July 18, 1926 the son of the late William and Mary Swogger Houchen.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one great grandchild, Kaylee Houchen.
He is survived by his wife, Myrtle Young Houchen of Peebles; one son, Bill Houchen of Peebles; one sister, Becky Shoemaker of Peebles; one grandson, Billy Jessica Houchen; and four great grandchildren, Cheyenne, Gabby, Levi, and Jacob.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at the Peebles Pilgrim Holiness Church with Wayne Kennedy officiating. Burial will follow in Jacktown Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 12:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the church.
Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles is in charge of the arrangements.
