Paul Madden, age 83 of Johnstown, passed away Saturday, December 21, 2013 at Centerburg Pointe Nursing Home.
He was born in Greenup County, Kentucky on July 13, 1930 the son of the late Rance and Dixie Wolfe Madden.
Besides his parents she was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Madden and two sisters, Charlotte Cole and Ruth Ann Madden.
Paul was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict, a member of the American Legion, and Teamsters Union of Columbus.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth Brown Madden of Johnstown, whom he married on December 12, 1952; three sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Patricia Madden of Newark, Ohio, Larry and Melanie Madden of Johnstown, Ohio, and Martin and Leslie Madden of Westerville, Ohio; one daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jess Stinson of Utica, Ohio; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dan Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery with a military graveside service given by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Visitation will be held on Friday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
