Paul L. Thompson, 67 years of West Jefferson, died Saturday, July 23, 2005 at his residence.
He was born at Peebles, Ohio on April 17, 1938 the son of the late Arthur and Flora Helterbran Thompson.
He was a member of the Potters House Church of God, graduate of Franklin High School at Locust Grove, US Army Veteran and member of the UAW Local 969.
He is survived by his wife Olive Powell Thompson whom he married on November 30, 1974, son Michael Paul Thompson of West Jefferson, four brothers, Kenneth Thompson of Texas, Forest Thompson of Hillsboro, Bob Thompson of Highland, John Thompson of Leesburg, three sisters, Dorothy Burchett of Hillsboro, Stella Ward of Peebles, Marlene Foster of Peebles, several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Ron Wagers officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery with Military Graveside
services by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday morning from 11:00 A.M. till time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
