Pauline Pennington

Pauline Pennington, 94 years of Hillsboro, passed away Friday, July 12, 2024.

She was born August 6, 1929 at Winchester, Clark County, KY., the daughter of the late Keller and Lillie (Bishop) Martin. Beside her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Pennington on April 23, 1998; daughter, Lori Freeman; sister, Virginia Mae Butcher; four brothers, Keller Jr., Willis, Asa and Sam Martin.

Pauline was a member of the Allensburg Church of Christ.

Pauline is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Leland and Ellen Pennington of Hillsboro; son-in-law, Mark Freeman of Hillsboro; grandson, Clayton (Sarah) Pennington of Columbus, OH.; brother, Harold Martin of Hobe Sound, FL; special family, Michael and Dr. Catherine Shanahan and their children, Patrick, Brian and Emily; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Funeral services will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro.

Bob Stevens will officiate services with burial following in the New Market Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. unitl 1:00 P.M. Saturday at the Thompson Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Allensburg Church of Christ.
