Pauline Shields, 75 years of Peebles, died Tuesday, December 30, 2003 at the Adams County Hospital in West Union.
She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on August 26, 1928 the daughter of the late Lee and Ruby Ransbottom Hagerman.
She is survived by her husband, Charlie Shields, who she married on June 17, 1953, son and daughter-in-law, Teddy and Sharon Shields of Highland, daughters and son-in-law, Diana and Charlie Johnson of Chesapeake, Anna Tolle of Peebles, sisters, Juanita Miller of Florida, Delta Phillips of Crown City, Mary Shields of Chesapeake, eight grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Don Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Saturday from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
