Pauline Wilson, 91 years of Hillsboro, died Sunday, June 21, 2009 at her residence.
She was born July 13, 1917 in Highland County, the daughter of the late Jesse G. and Besse Cameron Patton. Beside her parents she was preceded in death by her husband John A. Wilson on December 29, 1992, one daughter Judith Starr, one brother Frank "Bud" Patton, three sisters Helen Grover, Lelia "Tommi" Adams, Mildred Uhrig, special cousin Ruby Storer.
Pauline was a member of the Hillsboro First United Methodist Church.
Pauline is survived by son Mike Wilson of Hillsboro and friend Cindy Reno , daughter Janice Pitzer of Xenia and friend Ted Vance, son-in-law Jon Starr of Columbus, OH., five grandchildren, Joel Wilson of Hillsboro, OH., Amanda Wilson of Wyoming, Tony Dawn Pitzer of Wilmington, OH., J.R. Starr of Columbus, OH., Megan Dean Doran of Columbus, OH., three great grandchildren, Skylar, Aaron and Tyler Pitzer, sister-in-law Eileen Patton of Hillsboro, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews cousins and host of friends.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M., Friday, June 26, 2009 at the Thompson Funeral Home. Rev. Chuck Shonkwiler will officiate with burial to follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. Friends may call Thursday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home.
