Pearl Chamblin

Pearl Chamblin, 94 years of Peebles, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Adams County Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Wayne County, West Virginia on June 26, 1913 the daughter of the late Monte and Nervesta Ramsey Foughty.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her son Darrell Chamblin, daughters Glenna Reno and Gloria Turner, brothers Lloyd Jones and Mike Foughty, sisters Irene Austin, Ethel Hemmings, and Violet Johnson, and three grandchildren.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Judy Chamblin of Peebles, daughter Susie Smith of Peebles, daughters and sons-in-law Ruth Ellen and Roger Thornberry of Florida and Trudy and Jerry Johnson of Peebles, twenty three grandchildren, thirty seven great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Dave Hopkins officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
