Pearl Herdman, 100 years of Peebles, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008 at the Lodge Care Center in Loveland.
She was born in Adams County, Ohio on March 16, 1908 the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Dugan Henize.
She was a longtime member of the Locust Grove Wesleyan Tabernacle.
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Russell Herdman, who passed away July 14, 1973 after fourty seven years of marriage, brothers Bob Henize, Ray Henize, and Pete Henize, sister Edna Dawson, and two grandchildren Michael Tolle and Chris Herdman.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law Paul and Virginia Herdman of Morrow, Ralph and Ginny Herdman of Morrow, Eugene and Martha Herdman of Peebles, Donnie and Sharon Herdman of Hillsboro, and John and Janie Herdman of Maineville, daughters and sons-in-law Mary and Ray Landis of Dayton and Gladys and Don Broyles of Maineville, eighteen grandchildren, thirty one great grandchildren, and twelve great great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 8, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Marlyn Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
