Pearl Junior Taylor, 81 years of Hillsboro Boston Community, died Sunday, October 9, 2005 at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center.
He was born in Wilmington, Ohio on July 25, 1924 the son of the late Jess Delbert and Daisy Irene Storer Taylor.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two grandsons, two brothers Gail Taylor and Frank Taylor.
Pearl retired in 1990 from the Waddell Company, of Greenfield, Ohio after 43 years of service. He was a member of the Rainsboro Church of Christ in Christian Union. Pearl was a graduate of the Greenfield McClain High School and was a U.S. Navy, WWII veteran.
On September 25, 1948 he was untied in marriage to Thelma Helterbrand Taylor who survives.
He is also survived by son and daughter-in-law Mark Allen and Loretta Taylor of Hillsboro, Ohio. Two daughter and son-in-laws Mona Lee and Tom Parker of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Lucinda Kay and Sean Reynolds of Hillsboro, Ohio. Three grandchildren Dwayne Douglas Wendy Taylor, Tiffany Ann Ronald Perkins, and Kaeli Nicole Reynolds, and one great granddaughter Olivia Nicole Perkins. Five brothers Clyde Violet Taylor of Greenfield, Ohio, Bob Marilyn Taylor of Chillicothe, Ohio, Carey Carol Taylor of Greenfield, Ohio, Jim Connie Taylor of Hillsboro, Ohio, and Jerry Vaunda Taylor of Greenfield, Ohio. Two sisters Dora Stillings of Greenfield, Ohio, and Joan Harold Eugene Jones of Hillsboro, Ohio and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, Ohio with Reverend Wayne Barker officiating. Burial will follow in the Rabbit Hash Cemetery with military graveside rites by the Highland County honor guard.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home.
