Pop Gaffin, age 64 of Peebles, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on January 16, 1949 the son of the late Tink and Myrtle Johnson Gaffin.
Besides his parents she was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Swayne Gaffin who passed away on March 15, 2010 and brother, Richard Gaffin.
Pop was a member of Teamster Roofing Local #41 in Dayton.
He is survived by one daughter, Carma Gaffin of Cincinnati; one brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Janet Gaffin of Dayton; one sister, Katie Perry of Wilmington; three grandchildren, Amy, Autumn, and Robert; and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Don Warnock officiating. Burial will follow in Locust Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 10:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
