Quiller C. Perkins, 72 years of New Vienna, died Friday, March 27, 2009 at his residence..

He was born in Morehead, KY on Oct 13, 1936 the son of the late Warner and Fannie Wallace Perkins. Besides his parents Mr. Perkins was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Carrie Michelle Fleming, one brother, Ovie Perkins and a sister, Lillian Hargett.

Mr. Perkins was the owner operator of his own trucking business. Mr. Perkins was a member of the Edenton Lodge #0332 F. & A.M., Operating Engineers Union #18, Honorary Member of the Wayne Township Fire Dept. Newtonsville OH, and was also a Wayne Township Trustee.

Mr. Perkins was married April 5, 1957 to his wife Mary Monteith Perkins who survives. He is also survived by two sons and daughter-in-law, Kevin R. Perkins of Cartersville, Ga and Chad E. and Jennifer Perkins of Milford, OH also two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa L. and Frank Boyer of Mt. Orab, OH and Sharon L. and Roger Smith of Xenia, OH, one brother and sister-in-law Elzie and Marie Perkins of Hillsboro, OH, and two sisters, Berchie Ison of Bainbridge, OH and Lena Davis of Morehead, KY.

6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren..

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro with Robert Cook officiating.

Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home. Masonic Services will be held Tuesday at 8:00 P.M. at Thompson Funeral Home.
