Ralph P. Burns, 62 years of Peebles, Ohio, died Tuesday, September 13, 2005 at his residence.
He was born in Peebles, Ohio on May 26, 1943 the son of the late Ray and Nora Freeze Burns.
Ralph was a member of the NRA.
On July 6, 1963 he was united in marriage to Ruby Scarberry Burns who survives. He is also survived by son & daughter-in-law Timmy Jae Burns of Winchester, Ohio, son Brett Burns of Peebles, Ohio. Four daughter & son-in-laws Regina Joey Bennington of Peebles, Ohio, Brenda Todd Stratton of Peebles, Ohio, Robin George Wolford of Seaman, Ohio, and Christina James Moon of Peebles, Ohio, seventeen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Six brothers Jerry Burns of Peebles, Ohio, Marvin Burns of Peebles, Ohio, Larry Burns of Peebles, Ohio, Russell Burns of Uvalde, Texas, Floyd Burns of Glenwood, West Virginia, and Roger Burns on Marion, Ohio. Seven sisters Mary Short of Peebles, Ohio, Pearline Williams of Peebles, Ohio, Mabel Thompson of Oakville, Georgia, Sharon Chaney of Highland, Ohio, Wanda Sue Warren of Dayton, Ohio, Violet Lynch of Palastein, Texas, and Ruth Burns of Grove City, Ohio.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 16, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles, Ohio with Don Lewis officiating. Burial will follow in the Locust Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 11:00 till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home.
