Ralph E. Fannin, 86 years of Winchester, died Saturday, June 30, 2007 at the Meadowwood Care Center in Georgetown.
He was born in Strasburg, Ohio on March 4, 1921 the son of the late Dewey and Sadie Masters Fannin.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. He was a member of the Winchester Church of Christ.
Beside his parents he was preceded in death by one brother, Wes Fannin, and four sisters, Norma Jewel, Lillian Stone, Faye Dotson, and Irene Reynolds.
He is survived by his wife of sixty years, Frances Askren Fannin of Winchester, sons and daughters-in-law, Steve and Pam Fannin of Bradenton, Florida, Mark and Deena Fannin of Bradenton, Florida, daughters and sons-in-law, Holly Ann and Joe Higham of Linfield, Pennsylvania, Sandra K. and Stephen Crabb of Naperville, Illinois, Karen Bevins of Gahanna, Diane and Lonnie Ward of Peebles, Lacretia and Robert Keeton of West Liberty, Ohio, brothers, Weldon Fannin of Waynesville, Kinneth Fannin of North Carolina, sisters, Hildreth Hollinger of Mansfield, Ohio, Jane Davis of Wichita Falls, Texas, Elizabeth Morris of Pompano, Florida, Annetta Dotson of Orient, seventeen grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home in Seaman with Bill Bravard officiating. Burial will follow in the Cherry Fork Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by the Adams County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Monday from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Lewis-Sullivan Funeral Home.
