Ralph F. Garrison, 83 years of Hillsboro, died Friday, March 28, 2008 at Christ Hospital in Cincinnati.
He was born in Paris, Kentucky on October 7, 1924 the son of the late Earl and Lucille Tucker Garrison.
Besides his parents he was preceded in death by one son Otis Earl Garrison, one brother Marvin Garrison, and three sisters Edna Spruance, Jean Gamble, & Linda Garrison.
Ralph was a member of the New Petersburg United Methodist Church, a lifetime member of Eagles Lodge # 1161 serving as treasurer & trustee, past master of the Masonic Dalton Lodge #578, Life member of VFW Post # 9094, Life member of Am. Vets Post #61, and a member of the Bainbridge American Legion Post #0014.
He is survived by his wife Eloise Current Garrison of Hillsboro whom he married August 17, 1942. Two daughters & son-in-laws Julia & Don Bidwell of Grove City, OH, and Beverly & Robert Bernard of Hillsboro, OH. One daughter-in-law Jackie Garrison of North Olmsted, OH. Three brothers Hugh Garrison of Hillsboro, OH, Vernon Garrison of Hillsboro, OH, and Allen Garrison of Leesburg, OH. Eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home in Hillsboro, OH with Pastor Zedda Myers officiating.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens with military graveside services by the Highland County Honor Guard.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 5:00 till 8:00 P.M. at the Thompson Funeral Home with eagle services held at 7:30 PM.
Memorials may be made to New Petersburg United Methodist Church; 12210 Petersburg Road, Hillsboro, OH 45133.
