Ralph Kirby Griffith

Ralph Kirby Griffith lived September 9, 1943 to May 10, 2018, aged 74. He was born and lived all his life in Hillsboro, OH. He is survived by his daughter, Linsey (Kenneth Doughman) Griffith, son, Patrick (Patricia) Griffith, grandchildren Tesla and Finnegan Doughman, brothers, Robert (Barbara) Griffith and Randall (Judith) Griffith, and many beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his dearly beloved wife of 47 years, Linda (Howard) Griffith, and his father and mother, Lerman Earl Griffith and Madge (Mabel Cheney) Griffith, and an infant sister and elder half-brother.
Ralph was an avid gun collector and a lifetime member of the Ohio Gun Collectors Association, the NRA, the Amateur Trap Shooting Association, the Highland County Coon Hunters, and the American Legion. He proudly served in the US Navy as a Seabee. He retired from Delphi Harrison Radiators in 1998 after 35 years of service, worked at the Highland County Water Company and then retired from THE US Postal Service New Vienna Station as a Rural Carrier in 2016.
Funeral services will be 12 p.m. Thursday, May 17, 2018 at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene. Graveside service will immediately follow at the Hillsboro Cemetery with military rites conducted by the Highland County Honor Guard. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Thursday at the Hillsboro Church of the Nazarene.
