Ralph Edsel Hoffer

Ralph Edsel Hoffer, 79 years of Peebles, died Friday, June 28, 2002 at his residences.

He was born at Rarden, Ohio on August 19, 1922 the son of the late Elvie Elmer and Rosa Pearl Spears Hoffer.

He was a member of the Carmel Church of God, attended the Praise & Worship Christian Center at Lawshe was a Mountain Tour Guide in Wyoming and a Navy Veteran of WWII..

Beside his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers Carl E. and Wayne Oliver Hoffer.

He is survived by one brother, Robert L. Hoffer of Miamisburg, Ohio, two sisters, Hazel Mae Patrick of Dayton, Ohio, Lillian L. Taylor of Colorado Springs, Colorado and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home in Sinking Spring with Rev. Daniel Hughes and Pastor Joey Sandlin officiating. Burial will follow in the the Strait Creek Cemetery with Military Graveside Services by the Adams County Honor Guard.

Friends may call on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M.till time of service at 1:00 P.M. at the Wylie-Thompson Funeral Home.
