Ralph Jones, 89 years of Peebles, passed away Saturday, February 12, 2011 at Hospice of Hope Ohio Valley Inpatient Center.
He was born in Adams County, Ohio on September 12, 1921 the son of the late Otto and Anna Matheny Jones.
Ralph attended the Peebles Community Fellowship Church, was an Army Veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion, and the D.A.V.
He is survived by his wife Regina Turner Jones of Peebles whom he married on April 19, 1998, three sons and daughters-in-law; David Jones of California, Robert Kent and Nena Jones of California, and Joe and Kelly Jones of Wilmington, one daughter; Elisa Jones of Hillsboro, two step sons; David and Kathy Turner of Peebles and Donald and Pam Turner of West Union, two step daughters; Carol and Kenny Crawford of West Union and Dorothy and John White of Peebles, two brothers and sisters-in-law; Bud and Teresa Jones of Peebles and Benny and Pat Jones of Peebles, three sisters and brothers-in-law; Louise and Bill White of Peebles, Ruby Caster of Cincinnati, Mildred Apanel of New York, and Betty and Bob Morrison of Cherry Fork, 16 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles with Delwin Griffin officiating. Burial will follow in Jacktown Cemetery.
Friends may call on Thursday from 11:00 A.M. till 1:00 P.M. at the Wallace-Thompson Funeral Home in Peebles.
